Silver
in the World–Wide Signature Project Competition !!!
The Special Games was honored at Kiwanis International’s
annual convention, held in Las Vegas in July 2018. The Los Altos club accepted the award on behalf of the 30 clubs
in Divisions 34 & 12, whose hard work and dedication has made the games
work and grow for 40 years.
The Games was chosen from among hundreds of entries from
across the globe. Silver is the second-place
award and the top project in the United States. Our hats are off to first-place winner, the Kiwanis Club of Kuala
Lumpur, for their amazing initiative in creating a network of special education
schools for Down Syndrome kids from 0 to 6. Explained here.
